suspension. Second offenses within five years of your first can mean up to a year in jail, a $2.000 fine and a 90-day license

Driving that is not considered wanton or heedless, such as missing a stop sign or accidentally cutting someone when changing lanes, is charged as inattentive driving. As a lesser offence than reckless driving, an inattentive driving ticket is punishable by up to 90 days in jail and a $300 fine.
